The Mars in Leo self-care tips you didn’t know you needed ❤️‍🩹

Mars in Leo encourages us to embrace our inner fire and express ourselves authentically (BIG main character energy). It’s a time to pursue our passions, stand up for our beliefs, and cultivate a strong sense of self. However, if left unchecked, this can also lead to impulsiveness and ego-driven behavior.

Your Cosmic RX:

As we journey through this transformative astrological period (from November 3-January 6), coupled with the winding down of the North Node in Aries (which ends on January 11), it’s essential to prioritize self-care and heart-centered practices. Here are some rituals to help cultivate peace, regulate our emotions, center our energies, and calm our minds in the midst of uncertainty:

❤️ Energy Protection Ritual
Create a visual representation of your energy field, dividing it into two circles. In the inner circle, list the things you can control, such as your thoughts, actions, and self-care practices. In the outer circle, list the things you cannot control, such as other people’s actions or global events. This exercise can help you focus your energy on what matters most.

❤️ Core Values Exercise
Use these questions as a journaling prompt or a meditation during card pulls: What are my 2-3 main core values? What lights me up? What brings me meaning in life? What makes my inner child light up? How can I turn my triggers into glimmers (turning moments of jealousy or anxiety into moments of openness and excitement for new opportunities)?

❤️ Heart-Opening Practices
Engage in practices that open your heart chakra, such as yoga, meditation, or energy healing.

❤️ Crystals and Bodywork
Crystals like rose quartz, pyrite, and rhodochrosite can more easily connect us to the heart, along with a chest massage with rose oil. Acupuncture is an excellent option as well.

❤️ Home Energy Cleanse
Start by decluttering and dusting your space – use a sacred smoke (like lavender or cinnamon), cleansing sounds and frequencies, or incense, to push all the stagnant energy from your space (especially focusing on the corners of your rooms) and out the windows. You can even place small bowls of salt, or lemons and limes, in areas that collect a lot of energy, to help absorb, and then dispose of them a few days later.
