4 ways to work with this unique Aries season as an astro-loving entrepreneur. 

Let me set the scene: I’m sitting in my Annapolis, Maryland apartment, it’s early March 2025 as I write this, and I’m dressed in top-to-bottom sweats. Sweatshirt, sweatpants, cozy socks… Outside, the trees are swaying in the wind as old fallen leaves are being kicked up by the breeze, dancing above the parking lot. The sun is shining, it’s a rare 60-degree day, and I know another cold snap (or two) is coming before we settle into actual Maryland spring later this April. 

I can feel myself starting to thaw, to de-freeze, to come back online. And I’m clinging like a mad woman to the hope of what we in the astrology community know as the *true* New Year: Aries Season! 

Some Cosmic Context

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Sun enters the cardinal fire sign of Aries, signifying the start of a new astrological year and the Spring Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere. Angels will rejoice, birds will sing, and baddies of all kinds will start to slough off layers of seasonal depression as their bodies are revitalized with the early days of spring! 

And, it all comes with a bit of an astrological asterisk: This Aries season begins with Mercury (the planet of communication) and Venus (the planet of relationships) both retrograde in the sign of Aries. Then, just nine days later on March 29, we have a New Moon Solar Eclipse…also in Aries. 

The ruler of Aries, Mars, will be freshly situated in the sign of Leo (as of April 18, 2025), revisiting the sign where it first stationed retrograde on December 6, 2024. So we’re tying up a journey of reexamining our inner drive and ambition, while integrating what we’ve learned about what motivates us and gets us moving.

All of this to say, it’s a slooow scooch into this astrological new year. We likely won’t feel that traditional Aries forward motion until around April 12th, when all planets are direct and we’ve cleared the post-eclipse shadow period. 

Trust Your Cadence

If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the last year, it’s that seasons of slowness, introspection, and even low energy carry a rich abundance of momentum-generating potential.

But, if we’re too locked in on what we think progress or growth is supposed to look and feel like, we can miss the plot of the season we’re in altogether. 

Here are some ways you can work with this unique Aries season, start-of-Spring energy as an astro-honoring entrepreneur:  

Just start.

If you’re like me and many of my clients, there are likely some projects or areas of your life that have felt stalled or delayed. Now is the time to pick up the pen, send the pitch, map out the launch, or just get started. Release the need to know the full plan and every fine detail (how very South Node in Virgo-coded) and commit to taking one daily action that moves you towards your vision. 

Get support and seek aligned accountability.

Who helps you get inspired and motivated when you’re feeling stuck or uncertain? Surround yourself with those people and be that person for others. You may want to join an accountability group or virtual network (might I recommend my own membership community, the Psychic Content Coworking Club?) to help you make progress on your goals while honoring your natural energetic rhythms. 

Let yourself be seen. 

This season is calling for deeper vulnerability and visibility. When you’re willing to witness yourself more fully, you show your nervous system that it’s safe to be seen by others. When it’s safe to be seen, it’s safe to be known and loved, and it’s safe to be paid. We’re expanding our capacity for more of what we want. Let your people feel and know you. 

Be the one to go first. 

You little trailblazer, you! You were not made for the sidelines! You know what you want, and you know how to turn it the F on to get what you want. So do it! Make the ask, get edgier with your messaging, dump the guy, book the trip, put yourself in front of a different audience… Take this as your sign to be the one brave enough to go first.
